I am a Norwalk, CT native. I was born and raised here. At 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian! As a child, I discovered my passion for caring for animals and found it to be very rewarding. I started off as a veterinary assistant at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Norwalk, CT prior to starting my undergraduate studies. I then worked as a veterinary technician in emergency medicine and a general practice setting for several years.

I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science. I majored in Animal science with a pre-veterinary focus. In 2010, I attended the Royal Veterinary College located in London where I earned my Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (equivalent to DVM) in 2015. During my veterinary training, I completed 4 weeks of extramural studies in a small animal/exotics clinic called CJ Hall Vets located in London, U.K., where I discovered my interest in exotics.

I completed a one year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship in July of 2018 at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center of Norwalk,CT and VCA Shoreline of Shelton, CT.

My special interests include cardiology, neurology and critical care.

I share my home with several Persian cats; Tinker, Bliss, Jackpot and Wolfie, as well as a Silky Terrier named Vito! Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my pets, and traveling.
